The 53-year-old first turned pro in 1986 and dominated the circuit for well over two decades. During the span of his professional career, Agassi held the World No. 1 spot for a jaw-dropping 101 weeks. The American walked away from the sport in 2006 and left behind an impressive legacy, having won 60 career singles titles on the tour and an Olympic gold medal at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.
Andy Roddick, on the other hand, remains the last American man to win the US Open title to date. The 41-year-old accumulated 32 singles titles to his name at the time of his retirement in 2012 and held the World No. 1 position for a cumulative 13 weeks.
