“If Steffi Graf ever leaves me, I get half her Slams,” Andre Agassi jokes Novak Djokovic has a ‘long way’ to go before he catches him for most Grand Slam titles

In a hypothetical world, even if Agassi gets half of Graf's Slam count, that would take him to 19 Grand Slam titles at the most.

Tennis legend Andre Agassi has been a true role model for many tennis stars and it is his brilliance in the past that has paved the way to an even better rise of the sport. Agassi was one of the greatest players of his time, always going neck-to-neck and head-to-head against his longtime rival Pete Sampras, with the duo producing many scintillating duels on the court for years to remember.

Agassi had won 8 singles Grand Slam titles in his career, consisting of four Australian Open titles, two US Open titles, one Roland Garros and one Wimbledon Championship. On the other hand, his wife, Steffi Graf, has won 22 singles Grand Slam titles, and he has made a very funny remark about it recently.

On The Pat McAfee Show, he has stated that if he and Graf would ever split then he would possess a total of 29 Grand Slam titles elaborating that he would get half of her Slams.

He then went on to say that 24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic is far off from wining 29 Grand Slam titles so he should keep pushing himself every harder for the coming future. Agassi said,

Hey, let's be on the record if she (Steffi Graf) ever leaves me, I get half her Slams, right? Puts me at about 29 then, Novak Djokovic has a long way to go still.

But the funny part is, that even if he gets half of Graf’s Slam count, that would take him to 19 Grand Slam titles and not 29.

Andre Agassi to pair up with Steffi Graf for the Pickleball tournament:

With the first season of the Pickleball Slam receiving widespread recognition, the second season is going to be even more exciting as this time it will feature the tennis couples Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf. Last year, Agassi paired up Andy Roddick to beat John McEnroe and Michael Chang but this year has a lot of competition to tackle as Mari Sharapova is set to join McEnroe.

The competition will take place on 4th February with both teams looking super excited to the encounter. Back in July, the couple released a video together asking Sharapova and McEnroe to prepare nicely for the game. They said, “Hey guys, super excited. Hey Maria, hi John. Really looking forward to see you guys. We’re getting ready. we’re working hard, so you’ve got to bring your A-game.”
