Fans are an important aspect in the world of sports. They motivate the players and in return get entertainment from the athlete. It is a mutual relationship between the two, which does not require any particular age. Recently, a young fan gushed out in excitement as tennis star Andrey Rublev signs souvenirs.

The Russian was one of the top seeds at the Dubai Tennis Championships. Despite a shaky start in the first round, the Russian pulled it together and, got a victory. He beat Zhang Zhizhen in three sets to advance to the second round.

After a first-round toil, Rublev was up against rising star Arthur Cazaux, who had done exceptionally well at the Australian Open. Nonetheless, the Russian did not give an inch as he beat the Frenchman in straight sets 6-4,6-4 to enter the quarter-finals.

After the match, the 26-year-old took some time off to make the day of some fans, as he signed some souvenirs. A young fan shouted out of excitement, as Rublev signed a tennis ball for the kid. A fan gushed out of excitement:

The fan exclaimed

One simple gesture by the athlete made the day for the young fan, who was beaming with excitement.

No.2 seed Andrey Rublev became the second person to enter the Quarter-finals of the Dubai Tennis Championships, after dominating the show against Frenchman Arthur Cazaux.

In straight sets, the Russian served himself a victory and moved on to the next round. He awaits an opponent as Botic Van Zandschulp and Sebastian Korda battle it out for the spot beside Rublev. Both tough opponents will surely pose a challenge to the in-form Russian as the tournament gets more interesting. 

A few more interesting matches are in queue, as other players try to enter the quarter-finals. This is one of the last hard-court tournaments as the tour heads towards the USA for a season of clay. With the Sunshine Double as the next couple of tournaments, the tour gears up for the all-exciting Indian Wells. Beaming with possible momentum and confidence, the players will try and get some wins in clay before the prestigious French Open.
