“It wouldn’t be the same,” Andy Murray advised by fans to not to pay heed to mom Judy Murray’s request of straight set wins following an epic win in Qatar

Judy Murray and Andy Murray
After his heroics in the 2023 Australian Open, Andy Murray is ready to scintillate tennis fans’ nerves. He played two back-to-back marathon matches against Matteo Berrettini and Thanasi Kokkinakis; victorious on both occasions at Melbourne Park before succumbing to Roberto Bautista Agut in the third round.
In the ongoing Qatar Open, he gave an incredible performance despite losing the first set to win the first-round match against Lorenzo Sonego. The scoreline read 4-6, 6-1, 7(7)-6(4) in favor of Andy Murray.
However, after watching this performance, ATP Tour could not stop from commenting. It congratulated the British legend for his valiant performance on social media.

Social media is showering love on Andy Murray
Andy Murray started his 2023 season by participating in the Adelaide International 1 tournament. However, he could not get the fine start to his year as he would have expected. He lost to eventual finalist Sebastian Korda. However, his resolve in this match was tremendous. The scoreline reads 7(7)-6(3), 6-3 in favor of the young American.
The British legend then inspired a generation of tennis fans and other sportsperson’s with his performance against Matteo Berrettini and Thanasi Kokkinakis in the recently concluded Australian Open. Both the players are many years younger in age than the former World No.1. The match against the Australian went on for five sets and finished at 4 AM the next morning. However, he was able to beat both of them.
Hence, his performance against Lorenzo Sonego at the Qatar Open 2023 is being seen in the same series of wonderful performances. Social media are also buzzing after this magnificent accomplishment. Here are a few reactions that came in.

Andy Murray is currently ranked as World No.70 in the ATP rankings. He is trying to climb positions this season and hence is making giant strides.
It would be a great achievement for the three-time Wimbledon champion if he is able to reach the advanced stages of the Qatar Open. However, he is certainly the biggest crowd-puller in this tournament. He has entertained tennis fans whole-heartidly and it is expected that his match against Alexander Zverev will be equally exciting.
