Andy Murray and his mother Judy Murray have shared an adorable bond over the years. The Brit has often voiced his appreciation for his mother’s efforts in his life which recently came in the form of the former calling her the best mom.
Subsequently, Judy Murray took to social media to send out a message to critics and barred them from handing her any unsolicited advice.
Briton Andy Murray experienced a terrible start to the 2024 season after he his Brisbane International dream run was thwarted by Grigor Dimitrov in the opening round of the hardcourt event. Despite facing an unfortunate defeat, the three-time Grand Slam champion commenced his Australian Open campaign with hopes of making a deep run in the slam.
However, his Melbourne run came down crashing after he suffered a straight-set defeat at the hands of Thomas Martin Etcheverry in the first round of the tournament. The Brit’s loss seemingly sparked a reaction from the tennis community regarding his downfall in the ATP Tour, causing his mother and Scottish tennis coach Judy Murray to post a message for all the critics.

After experiencing back-to-back losses during his time in Australia, Murray is speculated to take some time off to figure out a game plan best suited to his interests, both on and off-court.

British tennis star Andy Murray recently reflected on his retirement plans after exiting the season’s first Grand Slam, the 2024 Australian Open. During a post-match press conference, the three-time Grand Slam champion highlighted his struggles and leaned towards calling it a day soon.
Murray said at the post-match press conference:
I've spoken to my family about it, I've spoken to my team about it, well, yeah, they're very aware of how I feel about things, where I would like to finish playing, when that would be. I haven't made any definite decisions on that.Andy Murray at the post-match presser
