Inactive French tennis player Alize Lim has revealed that she witnessed Andy Murray smashing his racket in the parking lot after his loss to Alex de Minaur. The Brit had lost to de Minaur in a three-set thriller in the first round match of the Paris Masters. Following this devastating defeat, Murray smashed his racket in the parking lot according to Lim.
The three-time Grand Slam champion has been having a rough couple of years. Following a couple of surgeries, he had returned to the tour full-time. However, he has not been able to get back to his previous form. Nevertheless, he has been able to regain a bit of his game. The 2022 season saw him reenter the top 50 rankings.
Just when he was slowly regaining his game, he would face a loss. One similar loss was at the Paris Masters, where he was a champion in 2016. He had been defeated by de Minaur in a grueling three-setter, where the first set had been a tiebreaker. The inactive tennis player Alize Lim admitted that Andy Murray is in a similar situation to her. The Frenchwoman had reached a career-high ranking of World No. 135 before retiring from the sport. She is now a consultant for Eurosport.

She was certain that he was in a place similar to where she was a few years ago, in terms of motivation.
