Andy Murray
Andy Murray receives a huge blow in what was looking to be a great run to Wimbledon. The Brit suffered from some major abdominal problems in the finals of the Stuttgart Open against Matteo Berrettini. At first, it was expected to be some minor injury that could take a week to heal.
But as it turns out the injury is much more concerning than once perceived by Murray and his supporters. The former world No.1 is out of the upcoming Queen’s Club Championships due to his abdominal issues. He is out of the tournament and this also set a huge dent in his plans on making it to Wimbledon.
The two-time Wimbledon champion has been playing some fantastic tennis in the grass season. He has been out of action for quite a long time after his hip replacement surgery and it was believed that he wouldn’t even be able to make it to the tennis court. But he played some good matches at the Australian Open and again took some time off the tour. He was finally back for the grass season and played phenomenally at the beginning but faced defeat in the finals of the Stuttgart Open.

Andy Murray is ruled out until further notice
Andy Murray’s Abdominal injury couldn’t have come up at a worse time for him. The brit for the first time after his comeback was looking really good like he was in the old days. He was dominating players ranked in the top-10 and was looking promising.
However, in the finals against last year’s Wimbledon runner-up Matteo Berrettini, Murray lost the match in a competitive three-set match. Andy Murray was having problems with his abdominal region during the game and he played through the pain. He performed really well but the injury caught up to him as he lost the match.
It looked like Murray pushed himself a little too much and ended up losing the match. However, the more troubling part is that Murray is now out of the upcoming tournament and it might be that a half-injured Murray will be contesting in Wimbledon which is just weeks away from us.
