Elena Rybakina has reached the finals of the ongoing Miami Open by defeating three-time Miami Open champion Victoria Azarenka in the semifinals in three sets: 6-4, 0-6, 7-6 (7-2). And now, the Kazakh star will face the USA’s Danielle Collins in the final scheduled for Saturday, March 30. Ahead of the final, former American player Andy Roddick picked Rybakina as the favorite to win the title.

Andy Roddick was told about what Collins said about golf and enjoying her time in Miami. She had said how playing golf helps her become more confident and makes her more relaxed.

I love it. I know we're looking for someone to call an upset here. But we're not going to see a bigger upset in this show than Lucius Malfoy telling someone to smile more. That was a little bit of a departure for me. I know Danielle Collins has been the best player in this tournament.
Andy Roddick said on Tennis Channel

Roddick said that though he wants to choose his compatriot Collins, he just can’t think Rybakina can lose the match.

There are just too many logical things to pick against Rybakina. I want to say, Collins. I just can't get there. I know I'll probably be wrong.

On the other hand, Danielle Collins started her campaign by beating Bernarda Pera. She later eliminated the likes of Anastasia Potapova, Elina Avanesyan, and Caroline Garcia, before knocking out Ekaterina Alexandrova in the semifinals.
