Aryna Sabalenka continues her dominant run at the Brisbane International
Aryna Sabalenka started off her Australian Tour with a few dominant performances at the Brisbane International, securing her place in the semi-finals. With previous success on the courts of Australia, including a Grand Slam win, the Belarusian hopes for a repeat of the same as she prepares ahead of her title defense at the Australian Open.

She started her 2024 season with an easy win against Lucia Bronzetti in the first round, 6-3, 6-0, following that up with a 6-1, 6-0 win against Zhu Lin. This saw her reach the quarterfinals, where she beat Kasatkina to secure a date with Victoria Azarenka. Sabalenka heads strong without even losing a set as she aims for the Brisbane title before heading into her maiden title defense.
Along with her are the likes of seed No. 2 Elena Rybakina and Linda Noskova, who are heading into the semi-finals. All these four players have good wins behind them as they look to secure the final spot at the tournament and possibly start their season on a high.
