Aryna Sabalenka and Paula Badosa are two of the most talked about female tennis players on the WTA tour. However, more than their stints in the tournaments, both the players gather media attention for their friendship. Both have been clicked together in parties, on tennis courts and practice sessions.

The Spanish and the Belarusian are best of friends and the world knows about it. When Aryna Sabalenka was struggling with form and fitness last year, it was Paula Badosa who supported her. Also, when the Belarusian won her career’s first Grand Slam singles title, i.e., the Australian Open, the Spanish was amongst the first to congratulate her achievements.

Recently, a photograph of both the ladies is doing rounds on social media.

To this both the professional tennis players gave their replies.

Ahahahahahahhahahahahhahaha this is true love,” her caption read.

Just to clarify…we have boyfriends,” her caption read.

Aryna Sabalenka is dating former Belarusian hockey player Konstantin Koltsov. He represented Belarus in the Winter Olympics and IIHF World Championships. Paula Badosa’s beau is model and actor Juan Betancourt.

Aryna Sabalenka and Paula Badosa have confirmed their participation in the upcoming sunshine doubles. The Belarusian is in great form and have won two titles already this season including a Grand Slam title. She won the Adelaide International 1 tournament beating Linda Noskova in the final. She soon complimented it by winning the Australian Open ladies singles title.

Although, she could not do much at the WTA Dubai Tennis Championships and was knocked out by eventual winner Barbora Krejcikova in the quarter-finals, expectations from her are pretty high coming into this ATP 1000 event. On the other hand, Paula Badosa is having a tough time in the tournaments. She reached the semi-final round of the Adelaide International 2 tournament but had to withdraw from the tournament following an unfortunate injury.

She was expected to play in the Australian Open, but soon decided to withdraw. She returned to the tour at Qatar Open. However, she could not do much as she lost to Beatriz Haddad Maia in the first round of the tournament. She subsequently was also knocked out of the Dubai Tennis Championships in the first-round of this competition too by Liudmilla Samsonova.

This resulted in a drop in her rankings. She is currently ranked as World No.21 while her friend Aryna Sabalenka is currently ranked as World No.2. However, both the players would like to improve their record in the upcoming Indian Wells Open.
