Aryna Sabalenka, the current World Number 1 in WTA rankings, has been one of the trending people in the tennis community. She is known for her heavy serves and strong forehands. However, shockingly, in a recent interview, the Belarusian star revealed her love for cars, driving experiences, and mood on and off the court. That’s not all, the tennis professional further wished to play another sport related to her passion.

“Not necessarily, maybe just when I drive, I like sports cars and I like driving fast,” said Aryna in an interview with Tennis Magazine. The 2023 US Open finalist has also revealed her contrast in attitude once she steps off the court.“But in life in general, I’m not that impulsive, I like to have fun, I’m pretty relaxed, not extremely restless. It’s a good balance, so after my career, I will have to continue doing another type of sport to release energy,” reveals Sabalenks while laughing during the interview.

The Belarusian has always been passionate about race cars. She enjoys the exhilaration and adrenaline rush that comes with being in a sports car that drives at terrific speeds. While Sabalenka is known for her fierce competitiveness on court, she likes to blow off some of that steam off the court through cars.

Aryna Sabalenka fulfills her father’s wish of becoming World No. 1

Aryna Sabalenka, the supposed “Barbie” of tennis, has recently achieved the milestone of ranking number 1 in the WTA. Due to Iga Swiatek’s early exit from the 2023 US Open, Sabalenka got more points for finishing deep and overtook the pole.

This achievement was not only for her but also for her late father, who unfortunately passed away at the age of 43. “I’m just trying to fight because my dad wanted me to be No. 1. I’m doing it for him, so that’s what’s helping me to be strong right now,” said Sabalenka.

Other than the competitive side, World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka has a hilarious side too. She shared a hilarious reel on Instagram where she checked her toxicity level, which showed 0%. To this, the player hilariously said “I knew it!”.

Currently, she has withdrawn from the Guadalajara Open along with a few other big names like Iga Swiatek, Coco Gauff, and Jessica Pegula.
