The mega event of the Australian Open is all set to commence on 14th January. With the first Grand Slam of the season scheduled to begin in a few days, various tennis stars participated in the charity match at the Rod Laver Arena.

ATP World No.1 Novak Djokovic and WTA World No.2 Aryna Sabalenka participated in the mixed doubles match. They were up against Maria Sakkari and Andrey Rublev.

However, during the course of the match, things got hilarious among these top stars. Djokovic stood at the net and asked the Belarusian to look at his hand gestures so that he could make the right serve. Sabalenka, in turn, didn’t understand what Nole was trying to indicate with his hand gestures.

The 25-year-old took her serve position but was forced to stop. In turn, she went on to say she was treated with a “beautiful view.”

As her partner was wiggling his butt at the net, the crowd encouragedly cheered this banter. Even the opponent’s teammate, Sakkari, got involved in the banter.

The business end of the season is a few days away for Aryna Sabalenka and Novak Djokovic

Both the champion of the Australian Open is seen in a playful and relaxed mood ahead of the mega event.

However, they will have a job on their hands as soon as the tournament commences. For Nole, his path to the quarters can be a bit turbid topsy.

A funny banter broke out between Aryna Sabalenka and Novak Djokovic in the charity match ahead of the Australian Open from 14th January.

He can be drawn with Andy Murray in the Round of 16 of the tournaments. However, with so much experience and a superb record on the hard courts, Nole would be up for his title defense.

Sabalenka, too, likes playing in Melbourne Park. She started the season with a flawless Brisbane International but was thrashed in straight sets in the finals of the tournament by Elena Rybakina

There is no doubt that she is one of the top seeds in the tournament. However, she would face tough resilience from players like Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff.
