Seeded at No. 8, Felix Auger-Aliassime stunned Austrian ace Sebastian Ofner, winning his latest clash in straight sets. In his Round of 16 match, the Canadian sealed his victory with a 6-4, 6-1 win. Earlier, the 23-year-old beat Australia’s Aleksander Vukic in his first-round match.

Marcos Giron, on the other hand, arrives in the clash after an impressive win against second seed Casper Ruud. Giron beat the Norwegian in straight sets, sealing his victory with a 6-3, 6-4 win. The 30-year-old previously defeated Japanese pro Yoshihito Nishioka in his opening-round match.
