The 2023 Shanghai Masters is all ready to commence with high energy. With the qualifier rounds going on in full swing, the tennis world is about to witness some top-notch tennis from the top-ranked players of the world. Other than the 2018 champion Novak Djokovic, all the top 20 players are going to participate in this Asian event.

The tennis fans will see top seeds, Carlos Alcaraz who will be making his debut appearance in the court fighting off 2019 champion Daniil Medvedev for the coveted trophy. Other than them, Holger Rune, Jannik Sinner, and Stefanos Tsitsipas will be on the court displaying exponential their form.

This event started off its journey back in 2019. Although Shanghai had held several tennis events on its ground, it started its own event to increase the tennis market in China and Asia in general. The credit for making this event renowned goes to Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Andy Murray who have won almost all the matches on its ground except two.

The event will take place in Qizhong Forest Sports City Arena in Shanghai, China. The quarterfinals and semifinals will be played on Friday, October 13, and Saturday, October 14.
