The Australian Open 2023 is just around the corner. The first Grand Slam of the year will be played between the 16th to 30th of January. As the world flock Down Under to witness great action on the courts, the Australian Open organizers are leaving no stone unturned to celebrate the prestigious event and make it a grand success.

The Australian Summer is the time when families get out of their homes in Australia. Great sporting tournaments are organized during this time of the year. The Australian Open is the mainstay tournament in the Australian sports calendar.

This time around the organizers of the Australian Open has made special arrangements to entertain families. The Kia Arena is ready to engage tennis fans all around the world. Music concerts will be organized in the stadium to entertain tennis fans which the organizers have called “The Finals Festival” scheduled between the 27th to 30th of January.

The Finals Festival will be an incredible way to wrap up what is shaping up as a spectacular AO23. “It’s an exciting new initiative for the AO, which has always led the way with music and entertainment alongside world-class tennis. The Finals Festival also gives us the opportunity to showcase our newest stadium, Kia Arena, in a unique new way,” Australian Open Tournament Director Craig Tiley said.

The Finals Festival will add to the hype around the culmination of the Australian Open, and after the music finishes fans can head to Grand Slam Oval and Garden Square to watch what surely will be a spectacular finale to AO 2023,” he further added.

Australian singers Vanessa Amorosi and Montaigne, and DJ Bertie will perform at the Kia Arena on 27th January. New Zealander singer Benee and indigenous singer Thelma Plum, band Winston Surfshirt and DJ CC: DISCO! will perform before the Women’s final on 28th January. Electronic duo Flight Facilities, band Lastlings, singer Forest Claudette and Wilo will perform before the men’s final on the 30th of January.

The Australian Open 2023 male singles players entry list is officially out

The Australian Open is considered to be one of the most prestigious tournaments in the tennis calendar along with the other four Grand Slams. The entry list of all the male singles players who will participate in the main draw with their seeds and rankings is out.

Many top players such as Carlos Alcaraz, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Daniil Medvedev, will try to add another Grand Slam title to their tally. Meanwhile, Casper Ruud, Holger Rune, Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Andrey Rublev amongst others will try to win their first Grand Slam title of their respective career. Veterans such as Andy Murray and Stan Wawrinka will take on the might of both young and greats to take the trophy home.

The best players will tussle and compete for 14 days to be called the best in Australia. The winner will also take home a whopping $2.875 million and 1200 ATP points will also be added to his account.
