Zverev’s campaign, on the other hand, involved a lot of struggle. Especially his matches against Cameron Norrie in the fourth round and Lukas Klein in the second round were particularly interesting. Both matches went to the fifth round and were pretty thrilling.

He has won a total of four matches against Carlos Alcaraz, while the Spaniard has won the other three matches. Moreover, when the two players last met in the group stage of the 2023 ATP Finals, it was the German who emerged victorious. 

However, Alcaraz was going through a rough patch during the 2023 ATP Finals and has apparently regained his usual form now. Thus, it is predicted that he will defeat Alexander Zverev this time to reach the semi-final of the tournament.
