In the second match, World No. 4 Coco Gauff will face off with Noami Osaka, who is making a comeback. Gauff will win the match, as it won’t be easy for Osaka to be back in her full flow after a long break.
Aryna Sabalenka will take on Donna Vekic in the Round of 16. The defending champion will win the match, keeping in mind her performance in Australia.
Quarterfinals predictions:
- Iga Swiatek vs Marketa Vendrusova
- Coco Gauff vs Maria Sakkari
- Aryna Sabalenka vs Ons Jabeur
- Elena Rybakina vs Jessica Pegula
In the first match, Swiatek will emerge victorious against Vendrusova as the Czech player struggles on the hard courts of Australia, with the fourth round being her best performance at Melbourne Park.
In the second match, Gauff will emerge victorious and qualify for the semis of the tournament. Even though Maria Sakkari has a better win record against Gauff, the American will win the match.
Aryna Sabalenka will take on world No. 6 Ons Jabeur in the quarterfinal match. It will be expected to be a thrilling contest between these two high-performing athletes. However, with her recent form and surface record, Sabalenka will win the proceedings against Jabeur.
Semifinals predictions:
- Iga Swiatek vs Elena Rybakina
- Coco Gauff vs Aryna Sabalenka
Two high-profile matches will be held in the semifinals of the tournament. In the first match, Swiatek will be taking on an in-form Elena Rybakina, whereas in the second, Gauff will be taking on the defending champion Sabalenka.
Sabalenka will qualify for the finals of the tournament and will avenge the US Open final loss from Gauff. In the first match, things will be expected to go down the wire and Swiatek will proceed to win a tight contest.
Finals predictions:
- Iga Swiatek vs Aryna Sabalenka
Swiatek and Sabalenka will contest the finals of the Australian Open. The two players have been in epic contests earlier, and in 2023, both of them were in an epic rivalry for the World No. 1 position.
In the finals, Swiatek is predicted to beat Sabalenka and win her first Australian Open title.
