Czech tennis ace Barbora Krejcikova has expressed her desire to reunite with former doubles partner Katerina Siniakova as she aims for ultimate glory at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
As Krejcikova and Siniakova formed a formidable pair on the WTA Tour, winning seven Grand Slam titles together, their splitting up became a topic of discussion.

While none of the two players said anything about the split when it happened, Krejcikova has now expressed a desire to reunite with her partner. The Czech ace aims to achieve Olympic glory with Siniakova. Barbora also claimed that it was Katerina Siniakova who broke the partnership.
It is worth mentioning that the Czech pair competed until the end of the 2023 season and only announced their separation in November. The bitterness in the relationship was evident when the two players faced each other at the 2024 Australian Open. Krejcikova and Siniakova shared a cold handshake after the match was over, and now Krejcikova has pinned it all on Siniakova.
Last year when we were splitting and she told me she wanted to go in a different direction, we brought up this topic [of competing at the Olympics]. This decision [to split] was Katerina’s, not really mine – I would love to play with her and I would love to compete at the Olympics with herBarbora Krejcikova said. (H/T: The National)
Barbora Krejcikova explains how she can renuite with Katerina Siniakova
Barbora Krejcikova, while expressing her desire for reuniting with Katerina Siniokova also shared the conditions for the reunion. She said that as it was Siniakova who decided to split up, she should be the one to approach her.

So, it’s more on her to actually approach me and to talk to me about it, to see how she feels. I’m very open to reuniting and playing the Olympics together, but it’s more on her right now.Barbora Krejcikova said.
Although reuniting with Katerina Sinikova is Krejcikova’s goal, representing her country at the Paris Olympics remains the bigger dream. Krejcikova says she would love to qualify and play as many matches as possible. She is ready to play singles, doubles, and even mixed doubles.
I would love to qualify, I would love to be part of the team. I would love to play singles and doubles, and if I have the opportunity I would love to play mixed [doubles]. But on the other hand, the Czech Republic is a very strong nation, especially in women’s tennis. It’s still a long way to go but definitely I want to do everything to qualify and be competing at the Olympics.Krejcikova said.
It is to be seen if one of the formidable doubles pairs on the WTA Tour reunites for the goal or not. If it happens, being the reigning champions, the expectations will be higher than ever from the Czech pair.
