A few players are famous for a few shots in tennis. Their skill is unmatched when it comes to that. The others, while trying them, may fail and ask the expert for some advice. However, the tennis audience has shown that asking for help may not always be very accepted.
A recent example of that is Bianca Andreescu‘s failed ‘tweener’, a shot Nick Kyrgios is famous for. He comes with great accuracy playing it. On many occasions, he has brought some wow moments to the court. Andreescu thought that before the Roland Garros if she can ask for help from the Australian she might attain some much-needed accuracy for playing the shot.
She asked for help publicly on Twitter. Her tweet read, “send help,” and the tweet tagged Nick Kyrgios. However, this action from the Canadian didn’t go well with her fans. It wasn’t really to do anything with Andreescu. It was Kyrgios’ name that angered the fans. Last year during the Wimbledon there were allegations against the Australian that he had abused his ex-girlfriend.
The crowd still remembers that crystal clear. They didn’t hesitate to bring that up. They straight away put their responses out. The warning was all over the next for Bianca Andreescu. She has been given the advice not to take help from the Australian. Bluntly, the viewers called Kyrgios an abuser. Will Andreescu pay attention to all these comments is a mystery. However, for her, the game matters most. And to correct her shots, she may not pay heed to the audience.
Twitter warns Bianca Andreescu to avoid Nick Kyrgios
The Twitter audience very quickly jumped in to reply to Andreescu’s tweet. The message was simple. ‘Don’t take Nick Kyrgios’ help’. Have a look at some of the tweets.
The 2023 Roland Garros is Andreescu’s chance to have a deep run on the clay. With two first-round exits on the surface, which included a 6-0, 6-1 drubbing in Rome, hasn’t been ideal. The Canadian would look to change that as soon as possible. A former US Open champion, Andreescu does hold the mental strength to win the competition.
