Nick Kyrgios, the Australian star, is all set to participate at the 2024 Australian Open, not as a player but as a commentator.

He has always been an animated character on the court and has an even stronger personality off the court. From expressing his opinions without any hesitation to starting controversies, the Australian has done it all.

However, to the delight of his fans, he traded his tennis racquet for a microphone as he joined Eurosports as a new commentator.

Kyrgios is set to feature alongside a star-studded commentary team for the 2024 Australian Open. Joining him are some of the legends of the game, including Boris Becker, John McEnroe, Alex Corretja, and more.

The 2022 Wimbledon finalist already has experience in this field, as he commented on the ATP Finals on the Tennis Channel.

With a very open nature and no fear of expressing himself, the Australian is well suited for this job, and as he has previously done, he is sure to entertain his fans again.

He recently took on the German legend Boris Becker in a recent Twitter war of words. The Australian has taken the example of Becker to claim the evolution of the sport and how it is a whole different ball game now.

The German did not take any of this and retorted back at the 28-year-old with a series of words on how he got his fame from tennis. However, Kyrgios was not one to sit back and claimed that he earned his fame by himself. He also took a slight dig at Becker’s imprisonment, which drew the line for this catfight.

Now the Australian must come face-to-face with Becker, as both of them are set to feature in the commentator box at the Australian Open.

The tournament not only features big names in its draw but also hosts a legendary lineup of players in the commentator’s box to continue the entertainment outside of the court.
