Alcaraz was the defending champion at the Argentina Open and also the top seed this season. His departure from the semis was thus extremely unexpected. However, he did not make any excuses and credited his opponent where it was due. Jarry will now face Facundo Diaz in the final of the 2024 Argentina Open and battle it out for the title.
As far as Carlos Alcaraz is concerned, he will now shift his focus to the Indian Wells, which starts on March 3. However, he will have to make huge improvements in his game ahead of the tournament if he aims to defend the title successfully.
