The young Spaniard, at just 20 years old, has created history time and again. At his tender age, he is the owner of two Grand Slam titles.

However, more young players are coming up in the tennis world. When Carlos Alcaraz played the 18-year-old wild card entrant, Shang Juncheng, it was truly a battle of the next generation.
All his opponents to date have been players of the previous generation or have been players who are significantly older than him. However, his young Chinese opponent proved that the younger players are now slowly being integrated into the sport.
I think tennis is growing. More young players are coming up. It's great for tennis and the people as well, watching young players play in the stage.Said the 20-year-old.
He also admitted that he was delighted to be able to play younger players, who will likely lead the sport for the next few years.
With the previous generation of players retiring or on the verge of retiring, it should be the case that there should be younger talents coming up.
In the last few years, the sport has seen a lot of younger players coming up. It truly is an out with the old, in with the new situation the sport is seeing.
Carlos Alcaraz moves on to the fourth round of the Australian Open.
Former World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz defeated wildcard entrant JC Shang in the third round of the Australian slam. He was victorious, as his opponent fell in straight sets. He is now set to play in the fourth round.

Serbia’s Miomir Kecmanovic had an even more illustrious day as he defeated fourteenth-seeded Tommy Paul in the third round.
The match was a grueling five-set spectacle where both parties put up an incredible fight. However, at the end of the day, it was the Serbian who won.
Alcaraz will face Kecmanovic in the fourth round of the Grand Slam. Both players will hope to play their best games if they wish to proceed to the quarterfinals of the opening Slam.
