Carlos Alcaraz admits hectic life on the tour robs him of family time that he wishes to have
Alcaraz reveals that the tight scheduling has cut short the time he spends with family.

World No.2 Carlos Alcaraz revealed at a press conference that the hectic tour schedule has taken a toll on the amount of time he spent with his family. While the young Spaniard is turning heads in the tennis world, he admitted that he is not able to spend as much time with his family.
“For me, it is very important to have my family by my side. I am very lucky to be able to take part of my family with me and travel all over the world, “ said the two-time Grand Slam champion. He also revealed that while the tour does not allow him to spend as much time as he would like with his family. Yet, he remained grateful that he had a few loved ones in his corner, making him feel supported.
According to the 20-year-old, family is the foundation around which most accomplishments are built. “Family is the foundation on which we can count the most. it is very important to have a good relationship with them and in my case to have their support throughout my career, “ said Alcaraz. The former World No.1 seemed very determined that support from his family was vital for him to succeed in his career.
Nevertheless, Alcaraz has been turning heads in the tennis world ever since he started playing professionally. With two Grand Slam titles under his belt, the young Spaniard is still playing his best tennis. He has won Slams and been the World No.1. He has battled it out against the likes of Novak Djokovic and managed to win some of these matches. Yet his hunger to win does not seem to diminish despite his accomplishments.

Carlos Alcaraz set to face Casper Ruud in the quarter-final match at the China Open
The Spaniard defeated Lorenzo Musetti in the second round of the China Open to secure his place in the quarter-final. There he will be facing former World No.2 Casper Ruud.
Alcaraz has been on a roll the past year, He has won a Grand Slam and two Masters 1000 events in the 2023 season alone. He is in excellent form as he enters the quarter-final match against the Norwegian.
While Alcaraz might be in flaming form, he still needs to give his best performance if he wishes to win against Ruud. With three final appearances at Grand Slams, Ruud himself will prove to be quite a tough opponent to the Spaniard.
