There were striking similarities found between Rafael Nadal’s maiden Wimbledon title and Carlos Alcaraz’s winning moment on Sunday.
Rafael Nadal defeated Roger Federer in another five-set thriller back in 2008, as he stopped the Swiss maestro from winning his sixth straight Wimbledon title. As one can see from the above tweets, fans have already started spotting similarities between the two Spaniards. Carlos Alcaraz avenged his defeat at the French Open last month, where he was defeated by Novak Djokovic in four sets in the semifinals. Carlos Alcaraz has had an absolutely astonishing grass court season, as he also claimed the Queen’s title.
