Young tennis sensation Carlos Alcaraz has been rising to the top of the world at a great pace and has been gathering fans all over the world through his gameplay and determination on the court. But this time, he has also scored an ace off the court by agreeing to a partnership with luxury brand Louis Vuitton thereby emerging as their new home ambassador.
He became the youngest player to be ranked number one in men’s singles rankings after his US Open triumph last year and since then he has never looked back grabbing endorsements deals left and right with different brands. And just a week after being declared as the top seed in the upcoming Wimbledon Championships, the French fashion brand has welcomed Carlos into their family saying, “delighted to welcome Carlos on this collaborative adventure ahead.”
Alcaraz has gathered the eyes of several brands from a very young age through his gameplay after he signed a racquet deal with Babolat at the age of just 13 years old. Despite being the World No.1, he has stuck with the company and is currently playing using their Pure Aero 98 model. He also has cracked endorsement deals with big brands such as Nike, BMW, Rolex, and recently Calvin Klein. The tennis player will now be expected to be wearing LV kits instead of Nike in his upcoming tournaments.
What did Carlos Alcaraz have to say about his new deal with LV?
Carlos Alcaraz was hugely impressed with the interest from Louis Vuitton and said that he wanted to get the deal done right away after the company expressed its interest in him. Alcaraz said, “For me, Louis Vuitton is really a brand that I have always looked to and when the opportunity to work with the team arose, it instantly felt like a perfect partnership. I was really invested from the start.”
Being born in Spain, it’s a no-brainer that Alcaraz is a fashion-lover and he sees this deal with Louis Vuitton as an opportunity to try out new ways of dressing and educate himself even more about styles and fashion. He added, “I really want to know more about it and be more into fashion. I think it’s a very interesting world and it excites me.”
