Carlos Alcaraz, one of the biggest threats at the Roland Garros
Carlos Alcaraz has recently described his ambition of becoming ‘one of the best’ players of the sport. While looking at his current form and back-to-back wins at the ATP Tours, the Spaniard will be posing some tough competition at the French Open.
With Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic currently, out of action, the World No.2 is clearly the favorite for the trophy. The two-time Barcelona champion has an explosive game style, which is definitely an advantage on the clay court. Serena Williams’s former coach Patrick Mouratoglou has also appreciated the 20 years-old by calling him an ‘all-court player’ but also stated that his shots and skills provided him an edge on the clay surface.
The US Open champion had to withdraw from the Australian Open due to a right leg injury. As he missed the chance to play in the Grand Slam, Alcaraz will be definitely eyeing a potential win at the Roland Garros.
