What a breathtaking final it has been so far for the men’s singles Wimbledon Championships, with the top two tennis players in the world battling it out with all their guts and determination. Novak Djokovic was gallant enough to take the first set from the Spaniard’s hands, while Carlos Alcaraz did something beyond description by stealing the second set from his opponent via a tiebreaker.
But with the third set starting now, everyone was confident enough that the winner of this set would have one hand on the golden trophy itself. Youth sensation Alcaraz never really looked out of touch after the first set, and Djokovic is now no match for the 20-year-old, who is battling like she has been playing on grass for eternity.
We all know what a tremendous source of energy Djokovic brings along with his tennis, and so does Alcaraz, who has been battling that force with precision and sheer will.
For the fourth game of the third set, it took Alcaraz 26 minutes to grind away the points from Djokvic, which seems to have put the Serbian in the back seat. Djokovic made three breaks after that, which completely tells the story of how much that game has left the 23-Grand Slam winner unfazed. With Alcaraz now leading two sets to one, it will be a test for the great man to prove himself and show the world yet another example of what he has been doing for so many years.
Will Alcaraz be the man to beat Djokovic finally?

Novak has been unbeaten on the grass courts of the All England Club, with his last loss coming way back in 2017. While his hunt remains vivid for the straight fifth consecutive title, Alcaraz has looked like a superior force against him, and only time will tell if Novak has it in himself to overcome the young sensation. Will his tired legs be a match for the fast shoes of Alcaraz, or will we have a new champion this year?
