Roger Federer recently shared a heartfelt message through his social media handles where he announced his imminent retirement from tennis. The Swiss icon announced that he would be calling it quits after competing at the upcoming Laver Cup. In a once in a lifetime opportunity, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic, and Andy Murray will be teaming up to take on Team World for their fifth consecutive Laver Cup should they win.

Many elite tennis stars took to their social media handles to pay tribute to Roger Federer after he announced his retirement. Stars like Carlos Alcaraz, Rafael Nadal, Billie Jean King, and many more shared heartfelt and emotional messages as they thanked Federer for defining tennis for the past two decades.
