In a recent interview, Tommy Haas, explains the aspect of uncertainty in the game of tennis.“Players who earn a lot of money know that their career is not forever and that it can end quickly in the event of an injury. Take Casper Ruud: he toured South America with Nadal during the pre‐season period after having a great 2022 season. I don’t think he can do that one more year, but of course, Casper perhaps wondering if he will ever set foot in another Grand Slam final.” said Haas in an interview with Tennis magazine.

Tommy Haas credits Novak Djokovic for his mentality
In an interview on Tennis Magazine former tennis World Number 2 Tommy Haas discussed the difficulty of becoming World Number 1 in the highly competitive world of tennis.“ Djokovic, at 36, is hungry like a teenager, that’s his mentality. When he says that he grew up during the war and that he dreamed of giving his family a better life… that cannot be taught, you have it or you don’t have it.” said the director of the Indian Wells tournament.
The German continues by crediting Novak Djokovic for his mentality and believes that you cannot be taught to have a good mentality and it either comes to a person or just doesn’t. The tennis world is waiting to see how the 24-time Grand Slam champion’s career will unfold. The Serb has gotten his country past the qualifying stage of the Davis Cup and now looks to end the season on a high and start the next season to continue his quests for more world cups.
