Norwegian tennis ace Casper Ruud is playing at the 2024 United Cup. Meanwhile, his sister and cousin are also enjoying their time in Australia. As the 25-year-old’s team played their first match of the tournament on Sunday against Croatia, Ruud’s family seemed to enjoy their time. They gave a perfect runway walk while walking to the court.

Ruud’s sister and cousins’ perfect runway walk, however, ended up in an embarrassment for them as they realized they were on camera. Not being aware of the camera, Rudd’s sister walked down the runway confidently. However, as soon as they realized about getting filmed one of them gasped and hid sideways.

The other one, meanwhile, tried to pull her away from the camera. Both of them were then seen having a laugh about the entire episode later. The video clip of the incident was shared on social media and garnered significant attention from the fans. Most of them seemed to like the confident walk down the runway as they complimented Ruud’s siblings.

While the Norwegian beat Borna Coric in straight sets (6-1, 6-4) in his singles match, Ruud partnered with Ulrikke Eikeri to clinch the decisive mixed doubles rubber with a 6-2 3-6, 10-7 win over Donna Vekic and Ivan Dodig. The Norwegian sounded pretty happy and confident about his two wins which ensured Norway stayed alive in the tournament.

I was pretty fresh from the singles so I was still warm and my shoulder was feeling fine. We were playing for the win. We were close I think against the Netherlands. It was another close mixed doubles match, it went against our favor. So we tried to come out here and win this one and luckily we did. It was great. It was really fun to play with Ulrikke and I hope we can play more in the future.
Casper Ruud said.

Norway have been drawn in Group F with Croatia and the Netherlands. They are currently seated at the top of the table while the Netherlands sits behind them. The last group-stage match will decide who qualifies for the quarterfinals.
