Chris Evert is among the most influential tennis players of all time. The American tennis legend won 18 Grand Slam Singles titles and was a force to reckon with during the 1970s and early 80s. The highly accomplished tennis star is quite popular on social media, particularly on Twitter, where she tweets about a variety of topics.

Recently, Chris Evert commented on a post which involved her interactions with Princess Charlotte at 2023 Wimbledon. She is the only daughter of the Prince of Wales, Harry and Princess of Wales, Catherine.

Chris Evert seemed to have a great time with the 8-year-old, as they were seen bonding on several occasions. Chris Evert stated that the time spent with the young one at Wimbledon was absolutely delightful. The images were captured during the Men’s Singles final between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz.

It seems that Chris Evert indeed had a memorable time with Princess Charlotte, who was seated next to her mother. The American has achieved plenty of success at Wimbledon herself, winning the title on three occasions.

Chris Evert was diagnosed with ovarian cancer last year, however, an early diagnosis ensured that they should get the proper treatment. After completing rounds of chemotherapy, the doctors predicted that there was 90% of cancer not returning due to an early diagnosis.

Chris Evert was a very popular sporting figure back in her playing days. She is fondly remembered for her rivalry with fellow countrywoman Martina Navratilova, as the duo were fierce rivals back in the day. She was the first player, male or female to reach 1000 victories in a singles event.
