Rod Laver Arena witnessed another amazing match as Aryna Sabalenka took on the deadly Coco Gauff in the quarterfinals. It was the battle of the serves as two Grand Slam winners eyed the spot in the finals.
With both the players fighting hard for the last spot, it was the Belarusian who emerged victorious. She beat Gauff in straight sets to advance to the finals. Not only entertaining her fans with her tennis, Sabalenka was on point with her grunts.
As one of the most recognized players for her grunt, she brought her best during the match against Gauff. Surprisingly, the American revealed that she was not affected by the iconic grunt, as she claimed to not have noticed it.
Having played Sabalenka a few times before, Gauff isn’t in a position to blame her loss on Sabalenka’s grunt.

Fueling her shot with a grunt has made Sabalenka all the more famous. Though it did not affect Gauff at the moment, she won over the fans with a hilarious grunt after a failed drop shot during the match.
After a hilarious doubles match with Novak Djokovic, this was the second time in the tournament that the fans loved her grunt.
Aryna Sabalenka gears up to face Qinwen Zheng in the Australian Open finals
One of the biggest servers in the WTA, Aryna Sabalenka moved on to the finals of the Australian Open after a convincing semi-finals victory.
She beat the American 7-6(2), 6-4 to make it to her second Australian Open in a row. With this win, she also became the only player after Serena Williams to reach back-to-back finals in Melbourne. Sabalenka will now face the Chinese star Qinwen Zheng for her second Australian Open title.
Zheng is fresh off a straight-set victory against qualifier Dayana Yastremska and poses a final challenge for Sabalenka and her title. Promising an intense US Open rematch, both players gear up for one last showdown in Melbourne. Fans remain excited for the clash between the talented tennis stars.
