WATCH: Coco Gauff brings out her dancer within as she jams to Michael Jackson’s tunes
The US Open champion recently returned to tour at the WTA China Open.

Reigning US Open champion Coco Gauff is enjoying the time of her life as is evident from the video shared by her on Instagram. The world no.3 hosted an Instagram live where she was seen dancing to Michael Jackson’s famous song Pretty Young Thing from his sixth solo album, Thriller.
The 19-year-old returned to the tour at the WTA 1000 China Open for the first time since her historic title win at the recently concluded US Open. The 3rd seeded American was defeated by the 2nd seed Iga Swiatek in straight sets. The American has won 4 singles titles this year which has helped her confirm her spot in the WTA Finals to be played in Cancun, Mexico.

In addition to confirming her spot in the singles draw of the year-end championship, Gauff and her good friend and American compatriot Jessica Pegula ranked World No.3 and 4 respectively, have scripted history and matched the Williams sisters, Serena Williams and Venus Williams, as they qualified for the 2023 WTA Finals. As Pegula and Gauff qualified for the WTA Finals for the second consecutive year, they became the first Americans to reach the event in consecutive years since Serena Williams and Venus Williams in 2008–09.
Coco Gauff’s US Open final gear on display at the International Tennis Hall of Fame
World no.3 Coco Gauff donated her outfit and the shoes that she wore during the 2023 US Open final against Aryna Sabalenka to the International Tennis Hall of Fame. Coco’s gear will be put on display in Newport at the Hall of Fame Museum for the fans to see throughout the end of the year.

The International Tennis Hall of Fame announced on Friday while sharing the pictures of Gauff’s outfit on display at the museum.
Some noteworthy additions. @CocoGauff’s iconic @newbalance shoes and outfit from her @usopen win are now in Newport! The gear is on display at the International Hall of Fame for fans to view in the museum through the end of the year.
Gauff is currently nursing a shoulder injury that she sustained in China. She pulled out of the subsequent tournaments due to the same and has plans to return directly at the WTA Finals.
