The New York Times recently released its year-end list of 71 people from across several fields who captivated the masses with their style and fashion sense. The list has names of people from politics, sports, entertainment, and fashion.

Two very well-known names in the list from the world of tennis are Coco Gauff and Frances Tiafoe. The two American tennis players have been well known for their fashion sense and it’s being recognized worldwide. 

Coco Gauff was seemingly very happy to make it to the list. She took to Instagram to express her pleasure.

NFL player Travis Kelce, NBA player Jimmy Butler, women’s football player Mary Earps, and football legend David Beckham are the only other athletes who made it to the list. Beckham was an obvious pick for the Most Stylish Person award, as the footballer has made it to the list of ‘World’s sexiest men’ too plenty of times. 

Gauff is following in the footsteps of her idol, Serena Williams, pretty well. She won her maiden Grand Slam in the 2023 US Open and has now been recognized for her fashion and style sense, much like Serena, who has always been a fashion enthusiast. She studied fashion during her playing career and started the clothing brand ‘S by Serena’ in 2018. 

Coco Gauff and Frances Tiafoe named in the 2024 Australian Open entry list 

Both Coco Gauff and Frances Tiafoe have been named on the entry list for the 2024 Australian Open. Gauff is one of the top-ranked WTA players in the world now and she will be the third seed in the tournament. Tiafoe, on the other hand, is currently the 16th seed. Two other Americans, namely Taylor Fritz and Tommy Paul, are ahead of him on the list, while youngster Ben Shelton is right after him.

Gauff recently won her maiden Grand Slam at the 2023 US Open. Although her form dipped slightly after that, the youngster is one of the favorites to win the 2024 Australian Open. Her main competitors will be Aryna Sabalenka, whom she defeated in the US Open final, and World No. 1 Iga Swiatek.
