Coco Gauff became only the third American teen to win the US Open on Saturday, following in the footsteps of Tracy Austin and Serena Williams. The 19-year-old beat the current World No. 1, Aryna Sabalenka, in the finals of Flushing Meadows to claim her first-ever Grand Slam title. However, apart from being known for her game, Gauff’s fans also adore her personality off the court.

While Coco Gauff has an excellent game, the American has also garnered huge praise for her humility off-court as well as her Kobe Bryant-inspired ‘Mamba mentality’. Her charm and grace have given the 19-year-old a huge fanbase of supportive followers. American tennis pro Shelby Rogers revealed that she is one such fan of the player.

Rogers went on to point out just what qualities she admired in Gauff. “Her as a person is just really inspiring too because she really values being a great person and has great morals. She has a very charismatic personality, and she seems to be handling everything really well,” she claimed.
