Coco Gauff jokes on her poor golf skills as the US Open champ takes a much needed break

2023 US Open Champion Coco Gauff was enjoying her time trying to hit golf balls. She posted a video of her casually trying to hit a few golf balls but hilariously failing to do so. She is taking a well-deserved break from the sport after her historic first Grand Slam win at New York just a few days ago.
In the video that Coco Gauff posted of herself where she is trying to learn Golf and hit a few balls, she captioned it saying ‘Gauff but can’t golf.’ She seemed very happy and excited enjoying her time away from tennis.
Coco tried to hit the golf ball twice and failed both times in a hilarious manner and she was laughing at her failed attempts. In the 3rd attempt, she finally managed to connect the club and hit the ball. Coco’s fans all over were quite delighted looking at her in her attempt to master another sport. Many of her fans responded in a humorous way saying that her golf swing had a tennis swing in it and that it is always pleasant to watch sportspersons try and learn a new sport.
Coco Gauff becomes first American Teen to claim US Open since Serena in 1999
Gauff became the first American teenager to lift the US Open Trophy since Serena Williams in 1999. Coco is just 19 years old and emerged victorious in the US Open 2023 finals against Aryna Sabalenka to win the first Grand Slam of her career. She received a lot of appreciation from people all over who congratulated her on her achievement and also wished her the best for her bright career ahead.
Gauff is very talented and mature for her age and her mindset and confidence since the start of the US Open was evidence enough that she would be able to win the Open this year. Her fighting mentality and standing up and voicing out her opinion on different matters is a commendable attribute which will take her a long way not just on the court but off the court as well.
