The 2023 US Open Champion , Coco Gauff is indeed having some well-deserved post-season fun as the 2023 season comes to a close for the American teen. The 19-year-old has had her career-best season this year by winning her first and only Grand Slam at the US Open earlier this year.

The American recently posted a video of her family and herself where they were seen dancing in sync with each other as they were enjoying their holiday. She is taking a much-needed break from the sport and is preparing for the upcoming 2024 season, beginning with the Australian Open.

The 2023 season came to a halt for the World No. 3 as she crashed out of the WTA Finals in Mexico. She had a good run defeating the 2023 Wimbledon champion, Marketa Vondrousova and Ons Jabeur but failed to convert her win at the semi-finals against Jessica Pegula.

Coco Gauff is spending good quality time with her family as she posted her family dancing together and grooving on some beats where all of them were synchronising their moves. She will surely enjoy some rest time after the season ends and during the holiday time of the year with her family. She will need to conserve her body for yet another busy schedule ahead of her in 2024.

A look at Coco Gauff’s 2023 season

The 2023 season was a memorable and historic one for the American. After winning her maiden WTA singles 1000 and 500 events this year, she had an excellent hard-court season by winning the Cincinnati Open. Her major breakthrough came when she defeated Aryna Sabalenka at the US Open to clinch her first Grand Slam of her career. Thus, she became the youngest American teenager to win the US Open since Serena Williams in 2001.

Apart from her titles, she also managed to become the highest-paid athlete this year overtaking World No.1 Iga Swiatek as well. The American was also responsible for bringing a lot of viewership and revenue as her incredible run at the US Open attracted a lot of fans from all over the world.

She ended the year achieving a career-high rank of World No.3 and it will be interesting to see how she maintains this performance in the upcoming 2024 season.
