Coco Gauff hasn’t only left the fans in awe due to her performance on the court but also by her maturity at the age of 18. She captured everyone’s hearts with her humbleness. She has all the traits to become a legendary player and an icon for the coming generations.

After winning the Semi-Finals and heading into the Finals at the Roland Garros 2022 at the age of 18, one could only wonder what the future holds for the youngster. But it is evident that there is a great player in making and she is one step away from making history at the French Open.

Gauff has played some of the best tennis in her career in the last week. She has managed to defeat players with way more experience and a higher rank in the world rankings. However, she has done all of that with a smile on her face and a sense of maturity in her head.

After her win over Marina Trevisan in the Semi-finals, she was asked about her win and if she was emotional after getting to such a huge achievement to which she replied by saying, “So many things happening in the US, not gonna cry over a tennis match”.

Coco Gauff made history by becoming one of the youngest players to reach the Finals of the Roland Garros. She will be facing her toughest opponent yet the world No.1 Iga Swiatek in the finals where she’ll get a shot at winning her first grand slam.

Even if she fails to achieve that goal what she has done in the past week has already made her a star in the eyes of millions and she will definitely be remembered for her amazing performances and her charismatic answers in the on-court interviews.

After the match, Coco was seen writing “Peace End Gun Violence“. Referring to the horrific shootings in Texas the 18-year-old joined the movement to protest against the alarmingly increasing rates of gun violence in the USA.
