Daniil Medvedev took a minute to embrace the joys of family life as he prepares for his quarterfinal match against Andrey Rublev at the 2023 US Open. Medvedev, who has been making waves on the court, had time to spend with his wife, Daria Medvedev, and their gorgeous daughter, Alisa, before his high-stakes match in Arthur Ashe Stadium.

On October 14, 2022, Medvedev and his wife, Daria, welcomed their beautiful daughter into the world. Despite the demands of a professional tennis career that sends him all around the world, Medvedev frequently posts on social media about his family. Medvedev is leaving a path of brilliance in his wake as he advances to the quarterfinals of the 2023 US Open. His incredible journey at this year’s event has been highlighted by his unwavering drive and brilliant performances on the court.

Medvedev’s campaign got off to a flying start in Round 1 when he faced Attila Balazs. The 26-year-old won in straight sets; 6-1, 6-1, 6-0. His dominant performance left no doubt about his determination to have a huge impression on the competition.

In Round 2 he faced Christopher O’Connell. The Russian showed remarkable consistency and poise in thrashing his opponent 6-2, 6-2, 6-7(6-8), 6-2. Despite a momentary setback in the third, Medvedev’s mental toughness prevailed, ensuring his advancement to the next round.

Medvedev’s talent was on full display again in Round 3 as he played Argentine star Sebastian Baez. The match was won decisively by him, as showcased his all-around abilities with scores of 6-2, 6-2, 7-6(8-6). Medvedev faced the outstanding Alex de Minaur in the round of 16. Despite behind 2-6 in the opening set, Medvedev’s resilience and agility shined through as he staged a stunning comeback. He eventually won the match with scores of 2-6, 6-4, 6-1, 6-2. His set to face his very good friend and fellow Russian, Andrey Rublev in a few hours.
