The Australian has been branded ‘disgraceful’ and ‘disrespectful’ amid hurling abuses and spitting towards his team following his complaints of smoking marijuana as he was overheard on his on-court microphone saying “It was f***ing marijuana. It was smoke. Obviously I’m not going to complain about the food,” to which Todd Woodbridge claimed his team should leave and walk out.

Witnessing the feisty encounter at the Flushing courts, Todd Woodbridge advised his team and girlfriend Costeen Hatzi to move out of the player’s box if the Aussie repeated his act of hurling abuses again. “At some point, the people who are sitting in his player’s box need to take some action,” amid the tennis legends’ frustration and outrage following Nick’s disgraceful act.

Following Kyrgios berating his peers, the empire advised the spectators to conduct themselves and “refrain from smoking around the court.” Later after the match, the Australian issued a statement saying “people don’t know I’m a heavy asthmatic. When I’m running side to side, I’m struggling to breathe, it’s probably not something I want to be breathing in between points.”

In addition to the on-court happenings earlier today, Kyrgios is already facing legal issues from a fan who at Wimbledon was accused by the Aussie of being “drunk out of her mind.” He is also known for occasionally flying off the handle and commenting inappropriate statements both toward the crowd and referees.

Nick Kyrgios overcame Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi’s challenge, ending the match with a score of 7-6 (3), 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 helping him advance to the third round of the US Open. But the match did undergo several moments of drama when the 27-year-old disrespected the basic conduct of conduct, earning himself a warming for on-court verbal abuse.
