Tennis couples Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils have a great bond both on and off the court, never shying away from the camera. Despite not staying with her daughter, Elina has looked far more confident on the court beating two of the toughest opponents on the Tour so far. She has not dropped a single set till now thereby progressing to the quarter-finals. In the round of 32 matchup, she faced a rematch of her recent Wimbledon encounter against Victoria Azarenka beating the Belarussian again by 6-7, 4-6.
In her round of 16 encounter with Daria Kasatkina, she performed brilliantly beating the fifth seed by 6-2, 6-2 on straight sets.
