Elina Svitolina’s foundation bags the right to manage the Ukrainian women’s national team for the BJK Cup as efforts continue to rebuild the nation

Ukrainian tennis star Elina Svitolina has a new task in hand as her foundation gets awarded the right to manage the Ukrainian women’s national team for the Billie Jean King Cup.
The foundation founded in 2022 by Svitolina has been a company mainly focusing on spreading awareness about the sport and providing young people with the basic needs to start the sport.

This effort by the team won her the opportunity to manage the national team. For the next 4 years, the Ukrainian Tennis Federation (UTF) transferred the management of the women’s national team for the BJK Cup to the Elina Svitolina Foundation. The President of UTF also expressed his confidence in the Ukrainians and how this initiative was taken to promote the sport in the country.

Now, with the current situation in Ukraine after the invasion, the tennis star has helped many families move from the place and has been a big psychological strength to the people.

The leading Ukrainian star, Elina Svitolina, did not take long to win the hearts of an entire country. On her last trip to her native, the 29-year-old recalled some of the moments during which she was left teary-eyed after witnessing the craze of the fans.
She uses this craze as motivation during those tough times to regroup and come back to the game. As per the tennis star herself, the people back in their native country are struggling daily with the amount of bombing they are still making.

Around 500 people have benefitted from the Elina Svitolina Foundation and with time, the number is only going to shoot higher. With the country trying to rebuild, the tennis star is helping in every way she can and the fans will see more of her help in the future.
