Australian tennis player Ellen Perez has struck a great deal of hate on the International Tennis Integrity Agency for their recent statement on the anti-doping charges of Tara Moore and Barbara Gatica Aviles. Both players had to serve a 19-month ban from the game, and their cases were looked over by the ITIA in the meantime.

Now that ITIA has finally lifted its charges against the players, Ellen Perez has slammed the agency for its unjust policies that are ruining the careers of several players. Perez targeted the fact that players had to suffer both financially and that their playing records suffered a major setback in the course of the investigation.

She also took a dig at the agency by wishing them the best and continuing to enjoy their ways of stripping any tennis player from their playing duties whenever they see fit.

This article forgets the part at the end where they should have said You’re now free to go back and join the tour with the zero income you have made over the time and 0 ranking you now have as a result of us making you wait 19 months cause we’re flogs. All the best, enjoy.

What were Tara Moore and Barbara Gatica Aviles charged with

Way back in April 2022, the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) charged Tara Moore with anti-doping charges on the grounds of using Nandrolone metabolites and Boldenone.

She provided a sample while competing in a tournament in Bogota, Colombia, and after her sample was split into two parts, A and B, it was found that sample A had traces of some prohibited substances that are listed in the 2022 World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List.

While the ITIA continued their investigation, she was barred from participating in any further tennis events serving suspension time from 27 May 2022. On the other hand, Barbara Gatica Aviles was also charged with the possibility of using Boldenone and its metabolite through her sample gathered during the same tournament in Bogota.
