The agent of former US Open champion Emma Raducanu has come up with some “missing stories” of the young Briton’s life before the breakthrough of the US Open 2021. According to him, the media ignored her family’s involvement in taking life decisions for her despite her being in the headlines for many reasons throughout her career.
As per Max Eisenbud (Raducanu’s agent), “One thing I’d like to add about Emma that I think doesn’t get enough. I think after she won, I don’t think her family got enough credit for how they handled her [in] the lead-up to Wimbledon and the US Open wins. Here’s a girl who never went to a tennis academy, who stayed in school – regular school – her whole career all the way until the end.”
After the fairytale in the US Open 2021, Raducanu was never able to go past the fourth round in any of the other Grand Slam tournaments. With a lot of injuries and poor form continuing throughout, the tennis world is still looking for the comeback of the young Briton. (Source: Daily Express)

Emma Raducanu’s comeback date is still not confirmed
The 20-year-old has undergone surgery for her wrist and ankle injuries sustained during the Auckland Open at the beginning of the year. After that, she was able to reach only the second round of the Australian Open. Then she played only in three tournaments, and her best performance was in Indian Wells, where she reached the pre-quarterfinals.
After withdrawing from the French Open and Wimbledon, the comeback date of Raducanu is still not known. Depending on the current scenario, it will be hard for her to enter the US Open without a wildcard entry. Being ranked at 128 now, she will have to start from scratch in the coming hard-court swing to make a significant role in the US Open.
Despite her poor form on the court, Raducanu is still earning a lot of money through endorsements and advertisements. She has got more than 3 Million followers on Instagram alone, making her one of the most popular faces of the WTA.
