However, her comeback campaign was cut short in the tournament’s second round. Raducanu was handed defeat at the hands of Elina Svitolina, who overpowered the former after prevailing in a hard-fought battle that lasted three sets.

In a recent Instagram reel posted by LTA, former British No. 1 Emma Raducanu talked about the special relationship she shares with her father and reflected on times when she played tennis with him. The Brit also expressed her compatibility with her father while talking in the interview.

My dad would do lessons with me in the backyard. And I think it is good for everyone to play tennis with the families because it makes it fun and it is always a great feeling when you can beat them. My dad drove me to a lot of different clubs and the one I picked was the one that had four girls in it. I did not think about the tennis, the coaching, whatever, as long as there were girls so I felt more comfortable in the squad.
Raducanu said in an interview with LTA via Instagram.

The Brit is speculated to perform next at the season’s first Grand Slam, the Australian Open, a hardcourt event where she faced a shock second-round defeat by Coco Gauff in the previous edition.

Things never really slow down for me. I think people might have thought oh, injury, you must have so much time on your hands, and no, I've actually had even less. I think it was all good times. My partners have really backed me and supported me even in a year out. So anything that I can do to give back, give extra, is really important to me.
Raducanu said.

The former World No. 10 scripted history in September 2021 after she became the first qualifier and the youngest British tennis professional to bag the US Open crown. In the event’s summit clash, Raducanu overpowered 19-year-old Leylah Fernandez to complete her Flushing Meadows dream run.
