British tennis ace Emma Raducanu has shared a piece of advice for Luke Littler who recently shot to fame for his historic performance at the final of the PDC World Darts Championship. The 21-year-old who scripted history after winning the US Open title at the age of 18 years has advised Littler to enjoy the success and not rush into the next thing.

Raducanu who has only grown older and wiser since her maiden Grand Slam title win in 2021 has said that the 16-year-old should keep his circle close and enjoy the success with his family and friends. Raducanu advised Littler against rushing things.

I would just say: ‘Keep your circle close, take time to actually enjoy it and don’t rush into the next thing straightaway.

Notably, Littler became the youngest player to win a match at the World Darts Championship before eventually reaching the final last month. His run was one of the most surprising breakout performances from a British sports star since Raducanu’s historic run at the 2021 US Open.

Emma Raducanu feels confident ahead of 2024 Australian Open

While Raducanu has become wiser, her body has not yet become used to the intense tennis schedule of today. The Briton has failed to win anything big since that US Open title. She has been hit with multiple injuries and also underwent surgeries recently. As a result, Raducanu was out of the tour for over eight months.

Nevertheless, the 21-year-old has finally made a comeback. Raducanu returned to action with the ASB Classics in Auckland. She had a decent run at the WTA 250 tournament as she survived till the second round before losing to Elina Svitolina.

Now, Raducanu has been given an entry into the 2024 Australian Open and she looks to make the most of it. The 21-year-old feels ready to go to the top of the rankings once again. She feels that her level is too good to not reach the top if she puts in consistent work.

Physically I feel good. I did a lot of good work in the off-season...I know my level is there, I just need to keep working on it to make it more consistent...I think my level, to be honest, is just too good not to come through if I put consistent work together.

Notably, Emma Raducanu opens her campaign at the 2024 Australian Open against Shelby Rogers, whom she defeated during her title run in New York in 2021.
