“It was really difficult,” Tennis beauty Emma Raducanu provides crucial health update amidst 3 surgeries in ten days

British WTA star Emma Raducanu has made a comeback to the tour after missing out on action for a couple of months. The 21-year-old did make a comeback at the ASB Classics and also played at the 2024 Australian Open. However, the 2021 US Open champion could not sustain for long with injuries troubling her again.
Nevertheless, the 21-year-old has recovered and made a comeback yet again. Raducanu has sailed into the second round of the 2024 Indian Wells with a dominant win over Rebeka Masarova. The Briton was elated with her performance. She was also delighted to be back on the court and feeling healthy.
Moreover, Raducanu remembered the time she underwent three surgeries within a span of ten days. The 21-year-old recalled how she was not even allowed to sweat. Raducanu said that it has not been a smooth process coming back on the tour.
I had 3 surgeries within 10 days, which is pretty intense. For 2 or 3 weeks you can't do anything because you're not allowed to sweat. You can't move.. like I had a scooter, I couldn't even use crutches because of my wrist surgeries. It was really difficult.Emma Raducanu recalled.
Raducanu said that she had to swap hands as she underwent surgeries on both of her wrists.
I was kind of swapping, you know two weeks the right [wrist] was in a cast. Then I take that off.. the right is in a splint. Take that off. The left goes in a cast. Then the left goes in a splint… And then it wasn't necessarily smooth coming back.The 21-year-old Briton said.

The British tennis ace also expressed her delight about being able to make a comeback despite all the setbacks. Emma Raducanu declared her comeback as her biggest win. The 21-year-old said that she is feeling healthy and that’s the best thing for her.
I had a few set backs so… I started training pretty much in December again and that's not much time to kind of get ready. Australia was in a bit of doubt as well. So to make it there and to be feeling healthy on the court now is the biggest win.Emma Raducanu said.
The 2021 US Open champion then talked about the results. Raducanu says that she believes in the process and focuses on being consistent with it. The 21-year-old is not bothered about results as she believes that “good results will come” as long as she stays healthy.
Coming to Raducanu’s performance in her first-round match at the Indian Wells, the Briton effortlessly beat her opponent. Raducanu defeated Rebeka Masarova 6-2, 6-3 to set up a clash with Dayana Yastremska. Now, the challenge lies in defeating the Ukrainian who has also been in great form as of late.
