Emma Raducanu shares a cryptic post on her Instagram story

Emma Raducanu

Raducanu has sort of lost her charm this year as she has faced second-round exits in every major tournament she has played in this season, after winning the US Open last year, the expectations from the teenager are sky-high and the fans await her performance at the US Open and are expecting something similar to last year where the Brit powered her way to the title.

Struggling for form this season, however, Emma Raducanu took to Instagram to post a story on her handle. She posted a quote saying, “Just because it’s taking time, doesn’t mean it’s not happening.” It seems like she is referring to regaining her form after her heroics at the US Open last year.

Participating at the Citi Open in a week, Raducanu was also seen practicing on hard courts once again under new coach Dmitry Tursunov, the Russian coach’s appointment is a good sign that Raducanu is not willing to take any chances and will give everything to defend her US Open title this time around.

The Citi Open will be a good opportunity for Raducanu to practice before the final major of the season and secure some much needed points in the bag as she will be looking to make her way upwards in the world rankings.
