Emma Raducanu the British superstar and the 2021 US Open champion was seen in Stuttgart wearing a personalized Tottenham Hotspur jersey. She was wearing the number 10 jersey and the photos were shared by Tottenham Hotspur’s official Twitter handle.
Harry Kane the Hotspur striker and number 10 would have been in shock seeing Tottenham sign a new 19-year-old female as the new number 10 when his club shared photos on social media. Raducanu said that she wore the t-shirt as a tribute to Harry Kane as her current coaching team is a supporter of the North London club.

Raducanu’s physio, Will Herbert, also posted on Instagram to joke that his “work was done” after sharing an image of her wearing her new lily-white kit.” Emma has been baptized a Spurs fan,” he wrote. “Hopefully we both pick up some trophies now!” However, after this, there were funny tweets regarding Tottenham not winning any trophies for their fans.
Along with Emma Raducanu, many other superstars like John Cena, Adele, and tennis player Nick Kyrgios are seen wearing the North London club’s jersey. The club and Emma both have signed deals with Nike. Renowned financial expert Kieran Maguire feels that Nike is planning a commercial between the 19-year-old and Tottenham.
He said, “It makes good commercial sense for all parties. We’ve seen Nike use their other roster of famous sportspeople and musicians for things like this. Their aim is to broaden the potential purchase base away from football fans into the athleisure wear industry. Emma Raducanu ticks all these boxes, so I wouldn’t be surprised if that is what has gone on here.”
Emma Raducanu’s recent form
Raducanu was seen practising the Tottenham Hotspur jersey in the 2022 Stuttgart Open and had a decent performance in the tournament as she reached her first quarter-final since October 2021. She won her round of 32 match against Storm Sanders and round of 16 match against Tamara Korpatsch. However, she lost to the world number 1 Iga Swiatek in the quarter-finals.
