British tennis sensation Emma Raducanu has become a popular figure in the sporting community in a span of just a couple of months. The Briton burst onto the big stage as a teenager, and made herself an overnight sensation after claiming the 2021 US Open title.

The 19-year-old is now considered a part of the Elite Club in tennis which involves the likes of Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Naomi Osaka. In fact in a recent list, the US Open 2021 champion has been ranked as the 12th most marketable athletes, and the third highest in tennis.

Emma Raducanu is ranked higher than the ‘Big Three’ members which includes Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic. Nadal came in at number 16, whereas, Federer comes in at number 23. Novak Djokovic is ranked lower down the list in the 46th place.

Emma Raducanu accumulated a score of 12.71 out of 20 in brand strength, while scoring 22.91 out of 50 in terms of her audience reach. She ranked a bit low on the economics scale, scoring just about 33% of the points. She had an overall marketability score of 67.99.

Given the raft of endorsement deals she signed off the back of her victory at Flushing Meadows, including agreements with brands like British Airways, Dior and Porsche, more on-court success could catapult her even higher up future 50MM lists,” SportsPro reasoned on Raducanu’s rise to fame.

Novak Djokovic’s ranking was surprisingly a bit too low, given his popularity and standing in the sport. SportsPro reasons that the Serbian’s image was tarnished because of the Covid-19 saga in Australia earlier this year.

Given the raft of endorsement deals she signed off the back of her victory at Flushing Meadows, including agreements with brands like British Airways, Dior and Porsche, more on-court success could catapult her even higher up future 50MM lists,” they added.

Meanwhile, talking about her on-court success in 2022, things have not gone according to plan for the Briton. She has failed to reach further than the second round of any major this year, and her ranking has tanked to number 70.
